Making CRMs Smarter With Company Profiles

Customer relationship management (CRM) systems can be pretty dumb without the right data. 

Owler and Nimble, however, have announced a partnership designed to enrich the depth and breadth of the company-related insights delivered in Nimble's Smart Contacts App browser plugin. 

Owler’s CEO, Jim Fowler, believes the Competitive Graph will have a massive impact on CRM systems and the business world. “Data drives businesses,” says Fowler. “Having the most accurate competitive data is a requirement for success.”

Owler has a database of some 15 million company profiles (powered by its Competitive Graph), which will be available to Nimble users. Data including employee, revenue, CEO and industry information is included. The data will be acessible as Nimble users browser the Web, engage on social networks, or use other sales and marketing apps.
