Making Social Media an E-Commerce Priority

Consumers love for social media is well known and as brands look to capitalize on this love many new companies have emerged offering brands unique ways to connect with consumers using social media.

AtHashtag, a new service connecting shoppers and fashion retailers (vendors) through a social e-commerce website and real-world pop up shops, is the latest company to do so with its beta launch.

Through the new service vendors are able to drum up excitement and interest through social media efforts as well as offer a real-world place for shoppers to visit when they want to see how something looks in person. Shoppers are able to discover new designers through hashtags and social media and try the items on in a virtual fitting room or pop up shop before purchasing.

"We really want to help small retail businesses grow and expand on to the High Street and online,” said AtHashtag founder Bernard Omolafe.
