Manage SmartVideos with New Lifecycle Platform

SundaySky has unveiled a new platform that enables marketers to create and manage their SmartVideo campaigns through a self-service console.

The platform, dubbed the SmartVideo lifecycle marketing platform, enables marketers to create engaging, personalized videos for a customer's lifecycle. The videos are configured and managed through a self-service SmartVideo console, which provides marketers with more flexibility and efficiency when it comes to managing their SmartVideo campaigns.

“Today’s complex marketing environment requires holistic ownership over the consumer experience throughout the lifecycle, which drives measurable value for the brand,” said Kelly Ford, SundaySky’s vice president of marketing. “It’s about continually delivering experiences that matter to the consumer, while continually measuring and optimizing for what matters to the business.”

It is important to note that the SmartVideo lifecycle marketing platform will be officially released in May for SundaySky customers in the telecommunications and insurance industries, with the company noting that other industries will roll out later this year. End-to-end management console – the platform offers a cloud-based, self-service management console that gives users control over video content, real-time data feed, channel experiences, analytics and optimization.

Scene library and story management – the scene library contains all scenes supporting SmartVideo stories. This allows users to manage existing stories and reuse scenes to create new stories.

Delivery channel best practices – the platform offers templates for SmartVideo delivery experiences, such as email, SMS and landing pages. The templates are embedded with best practices to help users maximize views and value. 

Advanced value measurement – The new analytics dashboard enables marketers to monitor and report on SmartVideo campaign performance. Plus, the platform measures value not only at a single point in time for a single touch point, but also over time and across touch points based on collective key performance indicators and associated values.

Intelligent creative optimization – Optimization capabilities are enhanced to automatically adapt creative based on performance. Variations are created for every creative aspect of the video, and the platform selects the best variation for every viewer.
