Managing Ad Sponsorship Sales

Inventory and revenue management solution Yieldex has released an interesting feature that integrates existing ad server and order management system data to help publishers forecast, manage and with any luck, maximize revenues from their direct sponsorship sales.

Integrated with YieldEdge, its inventory management solution, the Yieldex Sponsorship Calendar essentially provides an added level of visibility into important information for those engaged in direct programmatic buying. For example, sales team can access data to respond to RFPs including general availability as well as competing sponsorship arrangements (important to avoid overbooking). Publishers are essentially able to forecast sponsorship's and contention up to 15 months into the future, taking into consideration seasonality and other forecast adjustments. The solution even helps illustrate the impact that sponsorship's will have on standard impression-goal campaigns.
