Managing Freelancers; Everybody in the Pool!

Posted on 12.12.2016

Enterprises are operating in a freelancer-friendly environment and new and better tools are constantly emerging which makes collaboration between the two ever more efficient and effective.

Vitamin T, for example, recently announced a new online application dubbed Talent Pool that will allow clients to track and review freelance talent. Ideal for hiring managers, creative directors and project managers, solutions like these could certainly serve as an excellent supplement to the offerings already available through existing freelance marketplaces.

Employers have the option to narrow their search by freelancer availability, rates, resumes, and portfolio information, and its dashboard allows employers to search for freelancers by specific criteria. If an employer is searching their talent pool for web designers or copywriters, for example, they can limit their search accordingly.

The sustem helps employers quickly screen and filter freelancers that do not meet project criteria. The Talent Pool system can even allow clients to highlight project favorites and hide those profiles that aren't a good match.

Talent Pool also features functionality designed to enhance employers' ability to connect with their pool of creative professionals; for example, users can schedule interviews with candidates through the application. Talent Pool also features a Personal Notes section, where employers can add important notes about candidates, such as highlights from an interview, availability, or any other points of interest.
