MarketLive Speeds Up Checkout
MarketLive is speeding up the checkout, thanks to the commerce platform’s recent agreement with Amazon Payments.
Through the agreement, MarketLive merchants can integrate Login and Pay with Amazon into their e-commerce sites. This enables shoppers to leverage their existing Amazon account to quickly login and select their shipping and payment information that they use for Amazon. This new option can help merchants reduce cart abandonment rates and increase conversions on their sites. Moreover, Login and Pay with Amazon should prove to be valuable for mobile shoppers, as reducing data entry points is a good way to improve conversions on mobile devices.
It is also important to note that MarketLive customers who have already implemented the functionality have seen strong returns. In fact, one apparel retailer that integrated Amazon Payments in the Fall of 2013 saw a 24 percent increase of their payments going through Amazon Payments in just a month. The integration will be available for MarketLive merchants in Q3 2014.
