Merchandising on the Landing Page

Posted on 5.04.2016

The latest version of the Hawk Search platform is providing merchandisers with increased versatility to control and improve the customer experience.

Hawk Search’s existing Dynamic Landing Pages feature offers the ability to provide targeted merchandising and display highly relevant product listings to each and every visitor. The user-friendly workbench makes it easy for e-merchandisers to achieve their goals. Site search results can be exceptionally precise based on visitor attributes, such as geographic location, source of the visit, and other demographic information. Merchandisers can also take an ownership approach and fully control what products display and what exact order they want them in, creating endless options and opportunities for engagement.

The introduction of Content Landing Pages expands the Dynamic Landing Pages feature and bridges an existing gap for e-commerce businesses that have limited ability to merchandise content landing pages without a Content Management System (CMS). Through the Hawk Search Merchandising Workbench, e-merchandisers are able to start with a blank canvas, build and preview a new content landing page, and publish it immediately. The use of Hawk Search Content Items allow virtually any type of content to be displayed—images, video, HTML, and even third-party integrations are all supported.

“Many of our customers have been asking for more versatility when building landing pages because they don’t have or lack CMS capabilities,” explains Marcel Munoz, Hawk Search CTO. “We listen to the challenges that merchandisers struggle with on a daily basis and my team really rose to the occasion. E-merchandisers are getting savvier and giving them the control they need without the headache of adding another vendor and system to their organization makes sense.”
