The Adobe Photoshop Touch app enables users to combine images, apply professional effects and share the results directly from their tablet devices. The $9.99 design app includes features that allow users to create layers, use filters and selection tools, refine edges of an image, search for images with Google Image Search, as well as learn more about Photoshop techniques through step-by-step tutorials. This app is available for both Android and iOS tablet devices.
Analytics Pro for iPad
This $5.99 app enables users to sign up and access analytics for multiple accounts and profiles. Features include thumbnail previews for websites, a Favorites picker for easy access to the most used reports, intuitive graphs and maps, as well as the ability to export data and print reports. The summary report provides users with a snapshot of recent visitor activity, which is split into five groups: visitors, traffic sources, content, goals and e-commerce.
The Presenter app enables users to utilize their smartphones in order to assist them with presentations. The $2.99 app provides Bluetooth remote controlling of PowerPoint, OpenOffice or PDF presentations, and works with Bluetooth-enabled Windows, Mac and Linux computers. Features include the ability to switch slides with gestures or volume keys, a timer, fast-response time and a usercentered design process. Users must download a free server program to run the app, which connects devices together.
Pointer Remote for PowerPoint and Keynote
This $0.99 app includes next-slide and previous-slide controls, as well as displays notes from presentations and offers a timer to ensure that presentations are kept on track. The pointer icon can be replaced by images, and is controlled by dragging a finger across the device’s screen or by orientation. This app only works with computers running MAC OSX 10.5 or higher and PowerPoint 20011/2008/2004 or Keynote ’06/’08/’09. Additionally, the free Mac application Pointer- Server must be downloaded and started when Pointer is being used.
TimeClock – Time Tracker
The $3.99 TimeClock app tracks hours and rates for multiple clients and also generates invoices and spreadsheets from time data – perfect for professionals who bill clients by the hour. Other features include note entry and management capabilities, customized spreadsheet export and the ability to view and edit time records from within the app.
