Move Online with Ecwid and Square

Posted on 11.01.2015

Ecwid has teamed up with Square to make it easy for brick-and-mortar merchants to sell online.

Through the partnership, merchants can import their Square product catalog with just one click to create an online store with Square payments automatically configured. Merchants can then add their new online store to any site or multiple sites at the same time. When a sale is made, either online or in-person, all inventory and order data is synchronized automatically. This provides easy management between online and physical store sales. This solution is available through Square in the Square App Marketplace as well as through Ecwid.

“Ecwid is excited to team up with Square, the leader in POS and payments for small businesses. Together our multi-channel solution is helping small businesses grow more quickly and realize their dreams.” said Jim O’Hara, Ecwid president. “Retailers need the flexibility to sell anywhere without the complexity of manually managing multiple sales channels. Now they never have to worry about online or offline commerce – just selling.”

Through the partnership, Ecwid and Square merchants can expand beyond a physical location to grow their business online, add their store to any site including their Facebook page, as well as synchronize and manage products, inventory and sales data in one place.
