Net Briefs: Good News, Bad News

Posted on 10.24.2011

Demandbase and Focus Research have released a study that should get the attention of every Internet professional. The two companies’ most significant finding was that websites are a top source of leads for business- to-business (B2B) marketers, second only to personal connections/ referrals. That’s the good news, but the bad news is that 84 percent of the B2B marketers polled responded that their website marketing efforts could use moderate to strong improvement. The biggest area of concern for business website owners was the tracking and reporting of unregistered users, which is critical for every company utilizing the Web. The best news? If you’re among the 84 percent looking for improvements to your website marketing efforts, you’re already holding the solution in your hands.
