Never Been Easier - 'Net Briefs (October 2012)
In an effort to appeal to small business owners (and their wallets), Facebook has begun testing a new redesign of its ad creator tool that offers more guidance to advertisers trying to build a campaign. Facebook will focus on helping users find the “right mix” of Facebook display ads and Sponsored Stories needed to achieve their goals. These advertisers can specify their campaign goals (e.g. more page likes or promoting more posts). The ad creator tool will then recommend a unique combination of ads and Sponsored Stories. It will also include a preview, showing how Sponsored Stories will appear in a user’s News Feed.
