New Affiliate Marketing Service Maximizes Coverage, Minimizes Hassles

After suffering one too many headaches from trying to keep track of all of his affiliate marketing accounts, one fed-up website entrepreneur finally came up with a streamlining solution of his own. The end result is a new aggregation service called LettuceLinks, designed to better analyze and monetize affiliates' website traffic.

The free service was co-founded by Sean Kelley, who identified some of the affiliate marketing frustrations he experienced as the owner of a well-trafficked deal website. He came up with LettuceLinks to help marketers and publishers more effectively manage their affiliate links and to provide a way to detect merchants that are already being linked to a site—in user forums and comments, for instance—and to help LettuceLinks users join those programs so that they can monetize the links.

LettuceLinks currently supports all of the major affiliate programs including Amazon, Commission Junction, LinkShare, Google Affiliate Networks and eBay Partner Networks, and they plan to continue expanding. Users may keep their existing accounts, or LettuceLinks can help them create new ones. It is not a replacement for affiliate programs but a service to make managing and applying to programs easier for publishers.

By analyzing all of a site’s potential affiliate traffic, LettuceLinks can show marketers where their users are going and help them join affiliate programs that will have a direct impact on how much revenue their sites make. The service uses existing relationships to automatically convert outgoing links into affiliate tracking links.
