New Numbers: Who Is Small Biz Voting For?
It's a busy week in politics with the Republican National Convention underway and all the commentary being shared from the events, but how is this all playing out when it comes to small businesses?
Manta published findings, which indicate that small business owners (SBOs) are largely undecided about who they will vote for in the November election. While small business owners continue to favor Donald Trump as the best candidate for them (37 percent), 36 percent remain undecided and 28 percent plan to vote for Hillary Clinton. Trump's lead has declined slightly from 38 percent in February (down two percentage points).
Of course who sits in the Oval Office come January has the potential to impact everything from sales tax and wages to health insurance and consumer confidence, so the election is not something SBOs will take lightly.
