New Video Editing and Review Platform Sees Million Dollar Funding Round
As companies begin to grasp consumer’s love for multimedia, video in particular, many are creating their own media to satisfy their consumer’s needs.
However, before companies can post anything they must first thoroughly edit and review its content.
Wipster, a digital media review and approval platform, has recently announced a successful round of funding in which the company received $1.2 million in funding.
For those unfamiliar with the platform, Wipster helps teams collaborate with each other as well as their clients on original videos. The platform allows users to do a variety of actions including comment on precise frames within a video, create shareable to-do lists, import content from Dropbox and share their videos across social media.
"This first round of funding, while integral to fueling our plans for growth for the Wipster platform, is also a strong affirmation for what we're creating," said Rollo Wenlock, founder and CEO of Wipster. "It's become obvious that video -- in all forms -- is exploding. Businesses are realizing just how powerful this medium is for reaching their audiences.
