Website Magazine Affiliate Program Changes

Posted on 11.24.2009

Website Magazine has made several, very important enhancements to its affiliate program which will make it much easier and more profitable to promote free and paid subscriptions to the publication.

Read about the changes below or login/register to start promoting the enhanced affiliate program now

- Affiliates will now be compensated for each professional-level subscriber they refer to Website Magazine. You will earn 10% on each one, two or three year membership that you refer. Should you refer a standard-level subscriber that upgrades to professional-level within 90 days, you will be compensated the 10% less any fees already distributed.

- Perhaps the biggest change in the affiliate program is that you don't have to refer your visitors to a subscription landing page exclusively. New banners and text links have been added to help you promote the pro-level subscribers, but do check out the new link generator which enables you to refer your visitors to any page on Website Magazine (article, blog post, etc). When they subscribe to either a professional-level or standard-level membership you'll be compensated.

- Website Magazine will continue compensating affiliates for each standard-level membership (the free version), but will be reducing this specific payout from $2.00 per qualified subscription to $0.50. While it is a notable reduction in payout fees, WM is also reducing the payout threshold-level from $100 to $25 so you'll be paid more often. This lower threshold and the addition of pro-level referrals will continue to make this an attractive program to generate an additional revenue stream from your website. .
