Ooyala: Dynamically Adjust Video Delivery

Video consumption increases continually, but not all internet connections are created equal. Online video platform provider Ooyala is powering a new web-based movie streaming offering for online movie rental company NetMovies and the benefits to viewers will be felt immediately..

Ooyala’s adaptive bit rate delivery technology the platform will enable NetMovies to determine the end-user’s viewing capabilities and dynamically adjust the video delivery accordingly.

As the number of NetMovies rentals has skyrocketed from 500,000 to 5 million videos in the past year alone, scalability is crucial for continued growth.
