Optimizing Pages for Topic Relevance

SEO software Link-Assistant has added a new feature designed to provide clients with "smarter" keyword ideas and optimization advice for semantic SEO.

The company has released the TF-IDF tool within its Website Auditor product, which will make it possible for search marketers to determine the importance of a specific keyword on a page. TF-IDF is short for "term-frequency - inverse document frequency."

Along with Hummingbird and RankBrain, TF-IDF has been used by Google to determine the relevance of pages in its index for given queries. Link-Assistnat clients will be able to see how well their pages are optimized, discover new topic-relevant keywords, find the type of terms they need to use more often, and make changes directly within WebSite Auditor's Content Editor feature.

“TF-IDF, out today in WebSite Auditor, is an attempt to bring Hummingbird, RankBrain and TF-IDF together to give users data-backed optimization advice in the age of semantic search,” says Aleh Barysevich, Founder and CMO, Link-Assistant.Com.

“This new tool applies the TF-IDF algorithm to help SEO PowerSuite users optimize their pages for topical relevance, so that they rank higher in Google results,” continues Barysevich.

The TF-IDF tool is fully available in WebSite Auditor's free version. To start using it, customers can download WebSite Auditor or restart the app if they already have it installed.
