Pay Per Usage Hosting at ContentActivator
How much do you pay for hosting each month? Five dollars? Five thousand? Whatever the price point, unless you're using some cloud system directly like Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google (among the many, many others), you're likely paying a set fee regardless of how many visitors and how much bandwidth is being consumed.
Website builder ContentActivator however hopes to change how the Web charges for web hosting. The responsive website building tool announced a pricing model that charges based on bandwidth usage instead of a flat rate.
“ContentActivator’s new pricing options are unlike anything other website publishing platforms are offering today,” said Jonathan Farjo, co-founder and CEO of ContentActivator. “Customers are used to signing up and paying for plans with options they don’t use and as a result, overpaying. With the new usage-based pricing on the ContentActivator platform, customers always only pay for what they use no matter how large or small there websites are.”
Bandwidth will be calculated on an account level, allowing ContentActivator users to build and host many websites within one account and share bandwidth across them.
