Payment Processing in the Teen Market

Posted on 1.26.2014

Youth payments provider Oink announced last week that it has partnered with WorldPay US in order to expand its merchant base across the teen market.

WorldPay US is the U.S. payment processing division of WorldPay, a global card payment acquiring business, which allows customers to accept card payments both at point-of-sale and over the Internet. WorldPay operates in more than 30 countries and the company offers services across the entire payment value chain, including transaction capturing, merchant acquiring and transaction processing.

Oink is the only COPPA-compliant payment technology on the market currently that is designed to allow retailers and game publishers to reach under-21 consumers in a safe and legal manner. The technology essentially serves as a family supported e-wallet that is available online or via mobile.

“Integrating Oink into our payment processing offerings is a great addition to the current services that WorldPay offers,” said Tony Catalfano, President and CEO, WorldPay US. “We’re excited to work with Oink, bringing their COPPA-compliant solution to our clients worldwide and expanding their revenue opportunities within the teen market.”
