Pinterest is continuing to roll out the updates, and the social network's newest feature is pretty interesting.

The feature, dubbed "Interests," improves discoverability on the platform, as it helps users discover Pins that are related to subjects that they like. To use the feature, Pinterest members simply need to visit the social network on their desktop and select the "Preview! Explore Interests" option in the category menu.

"Before today, all the billions of Pins on Pinterest were organized into just a handful of broad categories. So if you were browsing for ideas for your yard, you had to go somewhere like 'Gardening' and sift through all the Pins," the Pinterest blog states. "If you've collected lots of Pins that show climbing plants and wall ferns, your interests page might recommend vertical gardens for you to check out."

The company's blog also notes that the Interests feature aims to offer relevant content for each person. Plus, the Interest page will change over time and will improve the more members use Pinterest. It is also important to note that this feature is still in its early stages and will continue to be developed as it is used. Moreover, Pinterest states that Interests will be rolling out to mobile devices "soon."
