Back in April, Pinterest introduced Guided Search on mobile to make it easier for users to discover new content on the social network. Now, the social network is bringing this feature to the Web.

With Guided Search, Pinterest users can leverage visual guides to explore the social network. For example, if someone is searching for a plant, Guided Search will offer up visual guides for categories like indoor, shade or garden, which users can click to filter their search.

In addition, Pinterest is making the search bar more prominent as well as making it simpler for users to filter searches by pins, boards or other pinners. In doing so, the social network aims to make the discovery process quicker and easier. It is important to note, however, that Guided Search is rolling out in English over the next few weeks, with other languages coming later.
