Platform Actively Monitors Site Standards

Posted on 9.24.2012

Running, managing and maintaining an enterprise is a difficult task – especially on the ’Net. This is because most global brands are monitoring a plethora of content on multiple websites and in multiple countries.

And despite improved technologies for deploying content and managing it on websites, the challenge of scaling quality control processes across a global enterprise’s Web properties remains prevalent. This is where the Web Quality Management (WQM) software from ActiveStandards (formerly Magus) comes in handy.

The ActiveStandards platform performs checks that monitor content quality, company standards, compliance and consistency across an enterprise’s websites in order to deliver complete visibility from both a strategic and operational standpoint. The platform can be set up to perform up to 100 checks per Web page, which can include anything from monitoring branding guidelines to overseeing legal standards such as copyright and cookie laws. These checks help enterprises ensure brand consistency and compliance across all Web properties – including mobile sites.

“Many companies take a passive approach to website quality and consider standards to be static,” said Simon Lande, CEO of ActiveStandards. “ActiveStandards provides a dynamic approach by empowering our clients to deliver a world-class Web presence, drive greater corporate brand value and subsequently generate more business opportunities and sales.”

Magus announced its rebranding to ActiveStandards due to the strength of its flagship product of the same name. In fact, the ActiveStandards platform has been leveraged by more than 100 global companies, including Unilever, Shell, HP and Canon. The platform doesn't only help companies take a proactive approach to improving website effectiveness, but also enables them to maintain confidence in the quality and compliance of their global sites.

“ActiveStandards enables you to have trust and confidence in your content wherever it’s used at anytime, because you have the visibility that we are providing by scanning the content and running these checks,” said Lande.
