Policing App-Install Campaigns
Mobile app advertising is a big business. In fact, it accounts for a majority of Facebook's ad revenue.
In the world of Internet advertising, however, success comes with the risk of fraud. To help protect brands' and mobile developers' app install campaigns, Adperio has announced the beta release of its mobile compliance tool, AppVault, designed to provide more insight and control over these campaigns.
The tool includes three modules aimed at catching aggressive ad tactics, uncovering rampant rebrokering, and controlling sources that may be blending incentivized traffic.
“Adperio has always given our clients a wide variety of brand safety and fraud protection services,” said Matthew Lord, VP of product and tech for Adperio. “AppVault is an exciting new product that allows us to share this compliance-focused data directly with mobile advertisers.”
What’s more, AppVault is designed to save Adperio’s advertisers valuable bandwidth by policing campaigns for them, according to David Porteous, director of global sales and strategic development. It’s a way of helping brands and developers protect their marketing spend.
