Unbound Commerce has announced a integration with payments solution Square, which will provide retailers with a "new-ish" way to accept payments.

The integration will essentially provide retailers using the Unbounce Platform access to app-based payment features via Square's Point of Sale solution as well as access to the Square Loyalty functionality.

Retailers are increasingly setting-up event-based pop-up stores, but have struggled to link transactions that occur at the event with an ROI for event attendance. When stock on-hand runs out, for example, those orders placed online are lumped together with all of the other orders and it is impossible to know if a particular order was placed by event staff.

Square has payment tools well suited to address this problem and APIs that support development of innovative payment solutions. Loyalty programs fit very well within retail apps and Unbound’s ability to deliver Square Loyalty means clients will be able to reward their best customers with points and redemption tracking within the app.
