TLA Unveils Post Level Ads
Text Link Ads unveiled a service today called Post Level Text Link Ads which gives advertisers the ability to target highly specific (read individual) blog posts. Ads will appear below the post content which could increase the chance of click throughs, especially if users don't know where content ends and ads begin. Ads will contain full titles (80 characters) and descriptions (150 characters) and appear on single pages. This should make the identification of sponsored links much more difficult - did you hear Google gasp? This is a very creative twist on TLA's existing program as there is a great deal of value to be had from links on individual quality posts. The Web is going to see a lot more of this type of advertising in the very near future as well as networks to support them.
