Post-PC CRM Expands to the Enterprise
Base, which dubs itself the “post-PC” CRM because of its ability to work on mobile devices, has set its eyes on the enterprise with its newest offering.
The company has released an enterprise-grade product that is available to use both on the road and in the office. The product supports large deployments and reduces the time to onboard users. New features include:
User-level permissions – control who can access data, either by team or user, within Base.
Teams – Companies can organize teams by regions, groups and more with multi-level hierarchies.
Advanced reporting – This feature provides enterprises with detailed performance reports and can be filtered by any individuals or groups set up in Base.
Voice – Users can make and receive calls directly within the Base CRM on their computer, mobile phone and tablet. In addition, all calls can be tracked and related to leads, contacts and deals.
"As the top-rated CRM app in multiple mobile marketplaces, and more than 10,000 customers, we were constantly receiving requests from large organizations for a feature set that would answer their needs," said Uzi Shmilovici, CEO of Base. "We can't wait to shake things up in the enterprise. Large teams and companies using traditional SaaS CRM won't believe how much more productive they are when they have software they actually love using."
It is important to note that Base offers native apps for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows smartphone devices. Plus, all apps are simultaneously built and updated so that the mobile experience is current, consistent and includes all features.
