E-Commerce Community Provides Solutions for Retailers
A new resource for e-commerce retailers has been attracting attention and partners since its launch earlier this month. Demandware LINK is a community of partners making a commitment to retailers to simplify the process of adopting e-commerce technologies.
Based on the belief that e-commerce vendors — not retailers — should assume the cost and complexities of integrating e-commerce applications, the LINK program provides Demandware clients free access to its growing library of pre-built integrations between third-party technologies and the Demandware eCommerce Platform. Demandware LINK integrations span a broad range of technologies including campaign management, imaging, order management, payment management, personalization, ratings and reviews, social commerce and more. The growing partner community already includes over 30 industry leaders such as Omniture, PayPal, Adgregate Markets, Bazaarvoice, Adobe Scene 7, Amazon Payments, Responsys, Mercent, PowerReviews and others.
All LINK integrations developed by these partners are currently available or under development, and Demandware customers and other members of the LINK partner community can access the integrations at no cost. An e-commerce retailer using the Demandware platform can use the library to find a solution to almost any technological need. According to Demandware, by using the LINK library to add a payment getaway, for instance, a retailer could reduce the time spent on such a process by as much as 92 percent.
