Prosperent Launches Real-time Affiliate Tracking Tool

Posted on 6.14.2012

Content providers can track the real-time performance of online affiliate advertising campaigns with a new in-depth analytics and reporting tool from performance advertising network Prosperent.

Prosperent Analytics provides deep insight on sales conversions within affiliate advertising campaigns by delivering automatic comparisons of key campaign metrics. Publishers can access real-time data on visitors to their site, including where a visitor came from and if they made a purchase as a result of the publisher’s affiliate links or ads.

If an online purchase is made, Prosperent Analytics details the type of product that was bought, and the merchant from which it was bought. This data helps publishers gain insight into the sources that are driving the most traffic to their sites, the types of products their readers are purchasing, and the merchants they are purchasing from, which publishers can then use to customize their affiliate advertising campaigns and maximize earning potential.

The free solution also includes the following reports and analysis tools for Prosperent publishers:

•    Date comparison – Content publishers can compare data from selected date ranges such as June sales conversions versus April sales conversions.

•    Campaign comparison – Publishers can review the efficacy of a particular campaign such as a shoe advertising campaign or a campaign specifically focused on sports gear.

•    Average days to sale – They can also track the amount of time it takes people to make a purchase, from the time they clicked a product link.

•    Average commission amount – Prosperent Analytics provides insight into the amount of money each click generates for the publisher.

Prosperent serves up millions of ad impressions per day and works with retail merchants such as Zappos, Overstock and REI.
