Publishers, Malware & Auto-Redirecting Creatives

There are numerous important topics in the ad-tech space including data usage, latency and ad intrusiveness to name a few, but another is auto-redirecting creative and malware.

Mobile-first video mediation platform AerServe recently announced a partnership with The Media Trust that should bring some peace of mind for those ad publishers concerned with security concerns of this nature.

AerServ will be using The Media Trust's SaaS-based Media Scanner, a service that provides monitoring and protection against malware embedded in mobile ad tags. AerServe will essentially be able to identify creatives that may harm the user experience or those which simply provide an unsafe environment.
