QUICK HIT: Squarespace Integrates PayPal

Website builder Squarespace announced they are now integrated with PayPal, finally providing onine sellers an opportunity to sell their goods to customers across the globe.

Squarespace quickly rose over the past ten-plus years to become one of the most popular do-it-yourself platforms for building and hosting websites but for the most part adoption by more serious merchants has been somewhat slow.

Many suggest that the reason is because these sellers have only been able to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover (U.S. only). There is no problem with that in those markets where bank cards are used widely, but certainly not everyone (which is why opening to PayPal is so noteworthy.

Squarespace competitors including Wix and Weebly already offer PayPal as an option.
