Quickbooks Online Teams Up with PayPal

Posted on 5.18.2015

Often having to make do with a small employee base and little time to spare, small businesses rely on the software they leverage to help make their processes easier.

Intuit, the producer of popular business and financial management solutions such as QuickBooks, Quicken and TurboTax, has announced a new app titled Sync with PayPal.

The new app allows small businesses to simplify time-consuming tasks through QuickBooks Online data integrations by automatically importing PayPal sales transactions, fees, discounts and taxes directly into QuickBooks Online. By leveraging the new app users will be able to save time by removing the redundancy of manually transporting data between solutions and improve the accuracy of their data be removing the possibility for human error.

Currently the app is only available on the QuickBooks App Store inside the U.S. but Intuit has stated it has plans to bring the app to the UK, Australia and Canada later this year.

“PayPal is listed by 25 percent of QuickBooks users in their chart of accounts, so we knew an integrated solution would be a valuable tool,” said Stephen Fusco, vice president and general manager of North American distribution at PayPal. “Sync with PayPal and Intuit QuickBooks Online will give small business owners more hours back in their day while helping to improve their transaction data accuracy.”
