Radio-Driven Daily-Deal Alliance

The two biggest radio companies in the world, Clear Channel Communications and Cumulus Media, are working together to compete in the daily deals market.

Clear Channel will run ads for the Cumulus Media daily-deals program SweetJack. Cumulus will become part of iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s streaming app and online radio brand.

Cumulus has introduced SweetJack in 16 cities and signed up one million users, the company said. By teaming with Clear Channel, Cumulus plans to take the service to 120 markets by the end of next year.
