A new ReachLocal update is bringing competitive measurement and multi-location capabilities to the company's online marketing platform.

The update adds new third-party campaign result measurement and multi-location alert and reporting capabilities to the company's ReachEdge total digital marketing system. The new features build on the solution's lead measurement and alert support that give local businesses insights into ROI from all of their marketing sources, including organic content (SEO), web presence and social media marketing.

With the third-party measurement update, ReachEdge will be able to provide local businesses with visibility into their marketing investments across campaigns run by both third-parties and ReachLocal. Moreover, the update displays all measurement and result data in a single dashboard, gives users the ability to sort and filter measurement data by source, as well as provides a one-to-one comparison of ReachLocal service results against other marketing providers.

It is also important to note that the multi-location support update will allow companies with several locations to organize and route alerts, leads and other information by geography, office or employees. This enables users to make sure the right information is delivered to the right recipient, which can increase response time and efficiency. Furthermore, the multi-location support allows local businesses to send email customized by location as well as compare leads and trends across locations.

According to ReachLocal, the competitive measurement capabilities are currently available to current ReachEdge users in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. Multi-location support, however, is currently only available in the US.
