Retain Customers with GimmeAnother
A new platform is helping retailers retain customers while also preventing customers from running out of their favorite products.
The platform, dubbed GimmeAnother, enables retailers to leverage the “Save-to-Mobile” call-to-action to encourage repeat purchases from customers. For example, retailers can feature the call-to-action on both websites and within marketing emails. Then, consumers can click on the Save-to-Mobile icon to automatically save their favorite products to the GimmeAnother app, which is available for iOS and Android devices. To make the platform available on tablets and other mobile devices too, consumers can also access the HTML version of the GimmeAnother app (m.gimmeanother.com). Once the product is saved to GimmeAnother, the consumer can open the app and reorder the item with just a few clicks.
This app is different from subscription services because it enables consumers to purchase items when they actually need them, rather than setting a time in advance for the product to be shipped. Moreover, GimmeAnother CEO Jon Roketenetz notes that by leveraging the Save-to-Mobile icon retailers are not only increasing their chances of retaining customers, but they are also staying connected with costumers in the increasingly popular (and profitable) mobile channel.
“For retailers, this is your chance to get onto the customers’ mobile device before they figure out a different way to reorder the product,” said Roketenetz.
