Roost Helps Mobile Sites Get Pushy

Posted on 11.05.2013

A new digital marketing platform from Notice Software is helping brands engage mobile site visitors with push notifications.

The Roost platform, which is currently in beta, is designed to accommodate all mobile websites, but puts an emphasis on blogs and e-commerce sites. Users simply need to recruit mobile Web push subscribers in order to send notifications that can increase metrics like site traffic and conversions. For example, a pet store could use Roost to send a dog food sale reminder via push notifications to their subscriber list. Once the reminder is sent, the business can measure user engagement with the notification through Roost’s analytics dashboard.

“We are excited to provide the engagement power of push notifications to businesses whose base is better suited for a robust mobile web presence than a standalone app,” says Burton Miller, CEO of Notice Software. “We’re especially excited about the ways we can help small and medium size publishers reach their audience. Finding ways to bring visitors back to their mobile websites is an increasingly important challenge for inbound marketers. We see Roost as part of the solution to this challenge.”

Roost is currently available in 17 languages and has end users in 69 countries. It is also important to note that the company is planning to integrate the solution with popular e-commerce platforms, which will make it even easier for merchants to send push notifications to their mobile customers.
