Scarcity Tactics in Email Marketing

A new email marketing solution has emerged and it's already positioned itself to "scare" up some business. 

ROEmails, created by marketing software developer WebNova, is a free software solution that aims to help email marketers improve performance by adding "scarcity" information to emails by including an email countdown timer that appears in a recipient's inbox. 

Senders can create a countdown timer within the ROEmails system that will run in the email software of their recipients. Say for example that you're running a 24-hour special. When the recipient opens the email 20 hours later after being sent, they will see that they have just four hours remaining. We're still checking on how it all works, but it certainly seems to be an effective way to increase open rates, traffic and conversions and deepen engagement overall. 

“We've created ROEmails to help emailers and marketers increase their Returns On Emails,” stated an article available on the company’s website. “With ROEmails, your click-through-rate and conversions will skyrocket. Plus, your long term open rates—as well as your subscribers—will now expect more good deals from you.”

ROEmails claims that their solution works in every email client - Gmail and Outlook included.
