Scheduling Instagram Posts Becomes a Reality (Kind Of)

Social media managers can now schedule their filtered images in advance on Hootsuite (kind of), thanks to the social media management platform’s new integration with Instagram.

With the integration, users can schedule Instagram content within the social media management tool and then Hootsuite will remind them it's time to post the content (but the content still needs to be posted within the social media manager's Instagram app). The more useful part of the Instagram-Hootsuite integration is that marketers can monitor and engage with their Instagram audience from within the Hootsuite dashboard. This gives users a unified way to manage their presence across social networks.

It is also important to note that the integration enables users to securely share access to their Instagram accounts across teams. Plus, users can create team workflows, which include setting assignments and approvals for Instagram.

“Our native integration expands on the monitoring and engagement functionality that’s been possible through our app ecosystem since 2012, adding the features you need to fully manage your Instagram campaigns through the dashboard: scheduling, publishing, and collaboration. This is a game-changer for marketers, content creators, and social media managers,” Hootsuite said in its blog post.
