Security and Better Search Come to CoreCommerce

Posted on 8.23.2015

E-commerce software provider CoreCommerce has unveiled new enhancements for its platform, which include more flexible search capabilities, updated Stripe integration and more weapons to fight against fraud.

With the enhancements, merchants will be able to create custom product lists that make it easier to filter search results. This functionality enables customers to search and find the most relevant product matches quickly. What’s more, CoreCommerce now features a Signifyd integration to help merchants fight fraud. This integration displays a “Fraud Score” when merchants view an order so they can spot and fight fraudulent orders before they’re shipped.

An additional enhancement to the e-commerce platform is cart abandonment reminders, which are automatically sent to shoppers who are logged in with a valid email address but abandon their cart. Other updates worth noting include enhanced Google Sitemap functionality that now automatically includes all blog pages created by a merchant, as well as an enhanced Stripe integration that supports address verification service (AVS). This integration helps merchants combat fraud because the transaction goes through an extra security step to check the address tied to the credit card.

“We look to our merchants when we make enhancements to CoreCommerce — we address their needs,” said Matt DeLong, founder and CEO, CoreCommerce. “We want to help merchants perfect their e-commerce presence for their customers’ ease of use, as well as their own profitability, always with the goal of providing the most comprehensive online selling platform.”
