Selling on Amazon with Shopify
Merchants using commerce platform Shopify are now able to add the Amazon sales channel to their account.
The integration, made available in December, is designed to connect Shopify stores to customers searching for products on Amazon (at least those selling in USD). Merchants are able to manage their product catalog from the e-commerce website, retail store, Amazon and other sales channels in one centralized location.
“This is our first integration with an online marketplace. Our work with Amazon is an important step in strengthening our robust multichannel commerce strategy and the ability of our merchants to sell anywhere their customers buy,” said Brandon Chu, Director of Product at Shopify. “With an estimated 40 percent of Shopify merchants already selling in online marketplaces, Shopify has further simplified the processes to gain entry into Amazon.”
