Shipping to Mexico & Brazil Made Easy

Posted on 9.20.2015

E-commerce shipping technology and service Endicia announced that it is expanding its coverage area.

The Endicia Global Service, which launched in May 2015, will now be offered in Mexico and Brazil with support available for additional countries in Latin America and the Caribbean Islands by the end of the year.

The solution hopes to eliminate some of the more serious challenges associated with shipping to Latin America including delays in customs (shipments can clear customers in as little as six hours), theft of higher-ticket items and costly shipping options. The transparent pricing is likely what will be most appealing however, as all duties and taxes are displayed at shipment creation. The service also allows businesses the option to delivery products duty-paid (since taxes are known at the time of shipment creation, fees can be paid up-front rather than collected from the customer on delivery).

"Brazil and Mexico account for more than 70 percent of the ecommerce market in Latin America — a tremendous opportunity for U.S.-based online sellers. Up until this point, we've seen businesses struggle with reaching these countries," said Endicia's co-founder and general manager, Amine Khechfe. "Endicia Global Service makes shipping to Brazil and Mexico as easy as shipping in the United States."
