Shopatron Unveils Local Product Search for Manufacturers
A new local product search feature from Shopatron is helping manufacturers provide better search experiences to their customers.
Shopatron’s Local Product Search includes patent-pending Finderbot technology and enables brands to bring local product inventory visibility to their website. With the feature, customers will be able to quickly discover products at local store locations. The search function establishes a consumer’s location when they visit a brand’s product pages. Consumers can activate the Finderbot technology by entering their mobile phone number and clicking “Find it for Me.” Finderbot then makes real-time stock requests to retailers without inventory feeds, aggregates their responses and displays them on a Web page that is both mobile and desktop friendly. Then, a text message containing a link to localized search results is pushed out to consumers in real-time as stores respond to Finderbot’s inventory requests.
