ShopIgniter Involved in New E-Commerce Solution

Posted on 9.02.2011

Retailers and brands who work in e-commerce have a new, comprehensive way to manage all aspects of their social Web presence thanks to a recent partnership between ShopIgnitor and Involver.

ShopIgnitor is well-known for their original social commerce software, which inlcudes their Social Promotion Engine. This software is used to power shareable coupons, referral and loyalty incentives, private and flash sales, group promotions and social ratings and reviews. It also allows for a fully transactional Facebook store (with in-stream purchasing options) and social commerce analytics, and all of these features are provided through a cloud-based platform.

Involver's biggest product would be their Audience Management Platform, which fills the role of a marketer's records system, using features like app management, wall response/moderation, update publishing, analytics and more all in a single interface. Currently, this platform is being used by over 500,000 companies across the globe, including, but not limited to, Nike, Facebook and the NFL.

The pairing of these two groups promises to bring an integrated solution between their two products that will help businesses manage content, commerce, promotions and analytics easily on the ever-changing social Web.

Not only will users be able to manage every part of their social Web presence, but they will also be able to measure the purchasing influence of their consumers as it relates to them sharing information about products, rewards or promotions.

In the end, this will give businesses or brands a simple way to manage their social Web applications and content publishing via promotions, product merchandising and marketing. They will also be able to personalize the experience and utilize best practice content and commerce functionality that will give them a custom look and feel that more accurately represents their brand or image.

Businesses, retailors, brands or agencies that have had trouble in their attempts to explore the rocky, restless terrain that is the social Web could be aided by taking a chance on two proven innovators in the field.
