So Long Cookies, Hello Mobile Registration

With mobile looking like it’s taking over the world, it’s important for companies to think of new ways to market toward mobile consumers.

With the release of its new Mobile Registration Solution for its Customer Profile Management Platform, Janrain is hoping to make company interactions with consumers more personal.

The new solution allows for customers to log in with a single identity on a brand's mobile site, mobile app and website. Janrain hopes that this will make for a more personalized experience for the consumer by being able to connect with them wherever they are.

"With the demise of cookies, mobile registration is the only way to reliably connect customer identity across devices. Making it simple to log in is the clearest path to offering personalized campaigns," stated Larry Drebes, chief executive officer of Janrain.

Considering consumers spend almost 40 percent of their Internet time on mobile devices, Janrain believes their new solution will make it easier for marketers to reach out to consumers. Janrain’s clients include Whole Foods, Channel 4, Dr. Pepper, Marvel and others.
