Pagemodo's Spring 2014 release is making it easier for small business marketers to create an engaging social media presence.

The release, which was announced by small business marketing platform Webs, includes a variety of new features, including Post Designer and Cover Photo Designer. These features help users create and publish Facebook cover photos, as well as visual posts that can be shared on social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Through the new features, small business owners can create content that will better attract attention in the news feed, which can help increase engagement with promotions for products, sales, contests, articles and more. In addition to the Post Designer and Cover Photo Designer features, Pagemodo's Spring 2014 release also offers hundreds of professional and customizable themes, a shape and text editor, the ability to export custom designs, an easy-to-use interface and the ability for users to preview, publish and schedule content to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

"Social media is absolutely essential to the small business, and using photos in social posts results in better engagement," said Alfredo Ramos, director of social products at Webs.  "We built these new tools because small business owners shouldn't have to turn to professional graphic designers and complex design software to update their Facebook cover photo or to incorporate images into their social posts."
