Popular payment solution Square has announced that its Square Cash feature is now available for business use everywhere in the U.S.

Square Cash, which was launched in 2013, enables users to pay each other via email. Through the feature, businesses are able to accept payments from customers, with Square depositing the payment directly into the business's bank account. Plus, Square offers a rate of 1.5 percent to process the payments.

Since businesses need to market themselves to everyone without giving away their private information like email address and phone number, Square has unveiled "$Cashtags," which is a unique identifier that enables anyone to create a personalized name, such as $SunsetPhotography, and get paid privately through Square Cash. Plus, businesss can post $Cashtags anywhere to let customers know they can pay with Square Cash, either from the Cash app (iOS and Android) or on the Web at cash.me.

"We think $Cashtags are a fantastic marketing service that lets your customers, donors, fans or even friends pay you quickly and securely. Many artists, musicians, and social media stars now accept payments with their $Cashtags," Square said in its announcement.
