Start Inviting with EventSpot

Posted on 8.22.2012

If your business is planning an event, you might want to check out EventSpot – Constant Contact’s rebranded event management solution.

EventSpot’s focus remains on helping small businesses and nonprofits hold successful events – from online promotion to registration. However, the platform also now integrates with payments solution provider ProPay, which enables EventSpot clients to accept credit card payments from registrants.

The integration offers an all-in-one merchant account and payment gateway service that is built specifically for small businesses. In fact, EventSpot clients are able to accept credit card payments from event registrants through their merchant accounts and, all within EventSpot. This means that registrants will be able to sign up for events from the registration page and pay with a credit card without being redirected to other sites for payment.

Aside from payment processing, EventSpot also offers clients tools for creating registration forms, invitations and an event homepage. Additionally, users can leverage the platform to promote events through social networks, as well as track payments and attendees.

“EventSpot is designed to help small businesses and nonprofits plan events more effectively, promote their events and more efficiently capture and track event registration,” says Christopher M. Litster, Vice President and General Manager of EventSpot at Constant Contact. “Our event management product continues to provide small businesses and organizations, who hold events, with a comprehensive online tool, encompassing everything from event promotion, to robust registration and Web-based meeting tools, to analytics and post-event communication. The new name reflects the true value that Constant Contact brings to the table: EventSpot is a one-stop, online shop for the small businesses and organizations that meets their marketing and management needs before, during and after their events.”
