Supercharge the CMS with Personalized Experiences
Personalizing the experiences that are delivered to customers is a priority for companies large and small, but only one-quarter of consumers feel as though they are receiving a consistent, personalized experience across channels.
There's a clear disconnect, which often comes down to the execution of personalization as it can be difficult to create and deliver the many variations of creative (photos/copy) that is required to truly present the right message to consumers - let alone the data needed to understand and predict buyer behavior. Vendors and their end-users who invest in personalization, however, stand to benefit from what it offers like increases in customer lifetime value.
To help automate much of this process, content management and digital experience platform Episerver has announced the acquisition of Peerius. Leveraging Peerius' omnichannel personalization software, Episerver customers can now automatically serve different consumers personalized landing pages, photos, content listings and other relevant content based on their interests without having to do the extra work (although manual importating of assets is required initially).
“The acquisition of Peerius is proof positive that Episerver is providing our customers with additional value on top of our core digital marketing, commerce and content management platform,” said Mark Duffell, president and CEO of Episerver. “Peerius effectively supercharges the Episerver Digital Experience Cloud’s ability to help organizations deliver standout experiences for their customers wherever they engage by injecting real-time, smart personalization into every use case.”
The entity will continue operations as Peerius, an Episerver Company, and Peerius CEO Roger Brown will remain in his current role, reporting to Mark Duffell, Episerver President and CEO.
