Sync Online and Offline Commerce

Ecwid unveiled a new way for retailers to synchronize online and offline commerce.

The Ecwid POS-to-Online solution enables retailers with cloud-based point of sale (POS) systems to publish products on the Web as well as sell online and in-stores. In fact, regardless of where a customer buys a product, the merchant’s catalog, inventory, customer and transaction information remains in sync. The first integration partner is Clover, which makes the offering currently available to users of First Data’s Clover solution through the Clover App Market.

It is important to note that Ecwid POS-to-Online gives retailers the flexibility to use their preferred POS system and Web presence. Moreover, merchants can instantly create an online store from their POS inventory and can manage both online and offline commerce from a central location. And, when a sale is made, data is updated and synchronized automatically across channels.

Furthermore, the Clover solution provides merchants with an easy-to-use business management tool that streamlines operations, expands business and customer intelligence, as well as facilitates payments in a secure environment. By integrating with Ecwid and making the Ecwid e-commerce app available through its App Market, business owners who previously thought it was too difficult to sell online can now open up an online store and manage both in-store and online sales centrally from their Clover Station, Clover Mini or Clover Mobile.

In addition to traditional in-store and online retail, Ecwid offers sell-on-the-go capability, enabling merchants to accept payments in-person wherever they go via its portable mobile POS solution that syncs data instantly with the Clover Station, Clover Mobile or Clover Mini.
