Tabulous.js (jQuery) for Creating Tab Modules

Posted on 7.04.2013

Web designers are tasked with many things including cramming as much information as possible into a webpage without making it feel cluttered.

Using a tabs module and placing different content on each is definitely a good (and popular) option, but the approach often yields a somewhat clunky experience.

Tabulous.js however is not your typical tabs module. The jQuery plugin has numerous effects that can really dress up the look and feel of the content within the tabs by sliding, scaling up and down, or flipping.

Installing and setting up the jQuery plugin is really quite simple. Just download and install the relevant .CSS and .js files, create the tabs and initiate the plugin and you’ll be good to – and look Tabulous (er, fabulous!).
