Taplytics Opens Its Services to Android Testing

Posted on 10.21.2014

Mobile apps have transformed themselves from fun time-wasters into main points of business's overall strategy.

However, in order for businesses to get the most out of their apps, they must understand how it’s working on all devices as well as how users are spending their time on it.

Taplytics, an A/B testing service for mobile apps, has made two announcements today that will expand its services and opens up the possibility for new customers.

Opening its services to a new market, Taplytics is now able to operate on Android systems courtesy of their new Android SDK. This release comes at an opportune time for Taplytics due to Android's dominance of the smartphone market with Android phones accounting for nearly 85 percent of smartphone shipments worldwide in Q2 2014. Now, Taplytics customers will be able to run full-featured code or visual A/B tests on Android devices.

The results will be organized by a number of different factors including geography and device type as well as any custom variables set in the app.
