Taplytics Opens Its Services to Android Testing
Mobile apps have transformed themselves from fun time-wasters into main points of business's overall strategy.
However, in order for businesses to get the most out of their apps, they must understand how it’s working on all devices as well as how users are spending their time on it.
Opening its services to a new market, Taplytics is now able to operate on Android systems courtesy of their new Android SDK. This release comes at an opportune time for Taplytics due to Android's dominance of the smartphone market with Android phones accounting for nearly 85 percent of smartphone shipments worldwide in Q2 2014. Now, Taplytics customers will be able to run full-featured code or visual A/B tests on Android devices.
Also, Taplytics announced the release of its new User Insights analytics platform. The new platform will deliver information on user acquisition, engagement, retention analysis and activation analysis. The User Insights platform will also deliver data to customers on actions users are taking in their apps. The results will be organized by a number of different factors including geography and device type as well as any custom variables set in the app.
